Overturned Vehicle, Multi-Car Crash Shuts 3 Lanes Of Route 80

A four-car collision on Route 80 left several drivers shaken and resulted in minor injuries on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 20, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at milepost 58.6 at 1:11 p.m. in Paterson, where four passenger vehicles were involved in the incident, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.

The NJDOT site reported one vehicle had overturned.

While no major injuries were reported, the crash caused delays and disruptions on the heavily trafficked highway.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. No further details were immediately available.
